Awesome! From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped off
Everything about our stay was well organised, and high quality. Sven and Aud are wonderful hosts and boy can that woman cook! We didn’t stay in the main lodge but in a large cabin about 5 minutes walk away with a separate bathroom, 3 bedrooms, kitchen and lounge. That said Sven was on hand to pick us up or drop us off any time we wanted, although we loved the walk at all times of the day or night.

Truly a fantastic place with fantastic hosts!
I’m late writing this review due to other travel commitments; this place and the hosts, Svein and his wife, really deserve all the applause I could deliver. We got a fantastic display the first night and it only got better after that: great snowmobile adventures, snowshoeing to the top of the mountain, storytelling in a Sami house outside the lodge, outrageously fun-dog sledging, and three more nights of incredible light displays!

THE Perfect Lodge, Location and Hosts in the Artic
We had travelled a long way to See the Northern Lights. (All the way from Thailand !!) – and set up our trip with a few days in Tromso – But then wanted to “get away from it all – in the Artic” –(and have more chance to see the Northern Lights !!) and a more perfect place than Artic Panorama Lodge to do this – I cannot imagine. From the outset Svein was very patient with our (many) enquiries and finally meeting him was like meeting an old friend… Which was exactly how we were treated – just like friends and House guests.

Absolutely Fantastic!
Everything that the other reviewers have raved about was true for us as well. Svein is a wonderful host, and his wife is a heck of a cook (the moose stew! the salmon!). The views are simply stunning day and night, and the activities that they can arrange for you are all excellent. Without a doubt one of my favorite stays anywhere!
