This guided dog sled ride will take you off the beaten track and bring you face to face with one of Europe’s last great tracts of unspoilt wilderness, either as a passenger or driver.

At the beginning of the tour, you’ll be acquainted with the dogs. Here, the guide will give you instructions on how to ride. You will learn how to put the harnesses on the dogs, and do this yourself. Once you’ve properly harnessed them, you’ll walk them to the sled. When you return, you’ll walk them back into their homes and feed them.

Can I drive my own sled?
You can drive your own sled for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance if you prefer to drive your own sled.

How do I drive the sled?
If you take on the challenge of driving your own sled, full instructions will be given from an experienced and knowledgeable local guide and help and advice is always on hand.

How many people can be on each sled?
Two people are assigned to each sled.

Can children join this activity?
Children may participate in dog sledding, but those under 14 may not drive their own sled.
