The calling of the sea
Embark on an Arctic wildlife fjord cruise
Join us on a magical wildlife
journey through scenic fjords
In northern Norway we are very lucky to have such a huge range of wildlife. We are even more lucky that we are able to get so close to it. Some of the biggest nesting cliffs in Europe are found by the bountiful sea here and are home to puffins, razorbills, auks, storm petrels, northern gannets and the mighty white-tailed sea eagle.
The safari passes seal and cormorant colonies and often provides breathtaking views of white-tailed eagles swooping down—wings (up to eight feet across) and talons extended—to snatch unsuspecting fish from the sea. There are also chances to see otters, and maybe harbour porpoises. And if you’re super-lucky, basking orcas and majestic humpbacks.
